Consciously Living (Coconut wax candle)

Published on 15 February 2022 at 18:07

I met a mom through a mom Facebook group. We have some things in common and she posted about some items that she made herself!

Her name is Madeline and she is a 20 something mama to a 2 y/o little boy. She is a clean beauty advocate and shes also an EMT!

She sent me this candle and it smells wonderful! It is Gingerbread House! Seriously, it does not have the over whelming gingerbread smell like most store bought candles.

But what I loved was just the little detail on the candle its self, the sticker with her company, the color of the container, the way it was packaged! You can tell that there was care put into it from the candle all the way to the packaging!

WHY did Madeline start making her own products and why did she start selling them?

She use to use box store traditional wax melts and candles until she learned about all of the toxins that are put in, on and around our bodies.

Her Journey first started by joining a clean beauty movement with Crunchi. I myself have never heard of that but I plan on looking into it.

At that time Soy candles were the new fad as far as "natural" candles went.

BUT what most people don't know is that soy can actually mimic estrogen. And someone that struggled with hormonal syndrome, she was not happy to learn this!

She decided to start making toxin free candles and wax melts, not just for herself but for others.

Her candles are made with a blend of coconut and apricot and she uses a blend of phthalate free fragrances and essential oils to scent the candles!

She makes them in small batches to make sure that they come out just perfect! I am pretty impress by just the ONE that I have gotten!

Madeline is a parent and she wants other parents to have another option in their homes.
