In my house, bath bombs are a huge hit. The girls are ALWAYS wanting to do bath bombs and we are constantly buying new ones.
But sometimes, this mama just wants bath bombs to herself!
For me, they are a simple way to get some self care in and also take care of my skin! I look for bath bombs mainly that are made from natural products. Home made ones seem to be the way to go. I love supporting other ladies in their ventures and the big box stores and companies just don't do it for me.
How did I hear about Bath Swag? I am friends with a gal on Facebook named Mallory that we met through other face book groups. You know how that goes. You find other moms on social media who are like minded! She was posting one day that she and her friend have a page called Bathswag! So you know I was going to jump on that right away! Baths have always been my thing to just relax.
She sent me two bath bombs to try and these are the two she sent me:
Lemon (summer)
Apple Cider (fall)
For both of these, as soon as they hit the water, they started to fizz and the smell was just so wonderful. My bathroom smelled so delicious! When it got done fizzing, I had a foam on the top and I had read somewhere else about bath bombs that when they are made with natural oils, its good to take that foam and actually use it on your body. I put it on my legs and arms and boy oh boy, it made them so silky smooth because of the ingredients!
I would highly suggest these bath bombs, pictures do not do them justice! They are really big and they also last quite a while fizzing in the tub. Most bath bombs just fizz really quickly and there's no foam, no really amazing smell and that's it. These two were quite the opposite!
About the Makers:
My sister Tiffany started Bath Swag about 5 years ago. My niece has really bad eczema and couldn’t use bath bombs from the stores or mall due to all the chemicals they use. So after some research and a lot of practice she formulated her own. They are made with only Baking Soda. Citric Acid, corn starch. SLSA(sulfate free bubbles), cream of tartar and coconut oil. No artificial dyes: our pigments are derived by plants and fruits only. And our scents are non toxic fragrances and oils. No alcohol is used in our bombs as this dries out our skin. While alcohol is used widely for its hardening ability we choose not too. No synthetic ingredients and no sulfates. All bombs are made by hand. No press is of machines are used.
