Psalm 29 (KJV)
29 Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength.

Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters.

The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire.

The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

The voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

10 The Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King for ever.

11 The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.

This chapter to me talks about the voice of God being very powerful. It reminded me of how fathers can have powerful voices. How voices and tones, seem to tell people just what to do and how to do it.

But Gods voice is powerful.

This chapter keeps saying...."The voice of the Lord."

That voice is so powerful that while he was creating the universe and every big and little thing in it, it's THAT voice that quite literally told how things were to be made!

His voice is so mighty that even the heavens and the earth obeyed his word.

Because voices are so powerful and also the words we say are....

we need to be careful and wise on how we decide to speak to others.

These times are really tough so maybe taking a step back and treating others with respect,

is whats needed.
